APEX Ace Award: Abby Schoonover, Mount Markham softball. Throwing a complete-game shutout and striking out seven, Schoonover helped the Mustangs pull off a 1-0 victory over Stockbridge Valley on April 7.
Atlas Fence All-Star: Jacob Jones, Morrisville-Eaton baseball. When M-E defeated Poland 2-0 on April 11 Jones pitched most of the way, striking out 10 in 6 1/3 innings and only surrendering four hits.
Byrne Dairy Prime Performer: Aliana DiBlasi, Oswego girls lacrosse. DiBlasi’s six goals accounted for half the Buccaneers’ production as it won 12-7 over Central Square on April 9.
Hello Garage Game Changer: Charlie Carbonaro, Skaneateles boys lacrosse. The Lakers broke out of an early skid defeating Christian Brothers Academy 11-9 on April 11 with Carbonaro picking up five goals and one assist.
The Image Press Icon: Jenna Glenn, New Hartford softball. Glenn had three hits, including a double, scored two runs and got four RBIs to help the Spartans put away Utica Proctor 19-4 on April 12.
JKS Roofing High Achiever: Christian Babiarz, Utica Notre Dame track and field. Babiarz earned victories in the 110 high hurdles and triple jump during the Jugglers’ first meet of the season at the April 12 Holland Patent Invitational.
Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Kelsey Brunelle, Jordan-Elbridge girls lacrosse, achieving her 100th career goal during the Eagles’ April 11 game against Chittenango, ultimately earning four goals in a 14-11 victory.
Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Ryan Lusher, Oneida boys tennis. The Express earned a 3-2 victory over Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on April 7 with Lusher beating George Hicks 6-1, 6-0 in straight sets in first singles.
M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Nate Matteson, South Jefferson baseball. During the Spartans’ 12-1 victory over Carthage on April 12 Matteson went three-for-three at the plate, stole four bases, scored twice and earned a pair of RBIs.
Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Xavier Doty, Fulton boys lacrosse. Doty, already a basketball standout, helped the Red Dragons defeat Whitesboro 10-8 on April 10 by getting five goals plus an assist.
North Syracuse Lawn and Snow Notable Effort: Leah Altieri, Clinton girls lacrosse. The Comets remained above .500 with Altieri getting five goals and one assist in a 12-8 win over East Syracuse Minoa on April 9.
Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Braden Wood, Weedsport boys golf. The Wolverines won its opening match of the season 220-267 over Cato-Meridian on April 9 as Wood shot the low nine-hole score of 39.
O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Irie Gallerani, Cazenovia softball, singling home Sophia Wilmot with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lakers pushed its way past Fabius-Pompey 4-3 on April 11.
110 Grill Award of Excellence: Lucas Patchen, Jamesville-DeWitt boys lacrosse. The Red Rams got its third straight win 16-6 over Niskayuna on April 12 with Patchen netting five goals and contributing an assist.
Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Hannah Roggie, Beaver River girls track and field. During the April 12 Holland Patent Invitational Roggie swept the shot put (38 feet 2 inches) and discus with a throw of 108 feet 1 inch.
Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Gunner Vielhauer, Fabius-Pompey baseball. Vielhauer threw a one-hitter and struck out five to help the Falcons pick up a 3-1 win over Mater Dei Academy on April 7.
Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Allison Kittell, West Genesee girls lacrosse. Kittell dished out five assists to set a new career mark leading the Wildcats as it rolled past Fulton 16-4 on April 10.
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists Student-Athlete: Emily Clonan, East Syracuse Minoa softball. Clonan’s pair of hits led to three RBIs and the Spartans needed them to defeat Fayetteville-Manlius 8-7 on April 7.
University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Indian River baseball earning its first victory since 2023 on April 12 when the Wolves rode Chace Bearup’s strong pitching to a 2-0 shutout over General Brown.
Wilkins RV Winning Player: Quinn Empey, Cicero-North Syracuse boys lacrosse. With Empey’s three goals and two assists the Northstars won its fourth game in a row April 10 topping East Syracuse Minoa 13-7.
