Atlas Fence All-Star: Emelyn Baillie, Holland Patent field hockey. The Golden Knights roared past Clinton 10-2 on September 3 with Baillie not only getting a three-goal hat trick but also two assists.
B&B Lumber Big Mover: Ajna Husovic, Utica Academy of Science girls soccer. All that Husovic did was pile up six goals and an assist carrying the Atoms to a 7-0 victory over Madison on September 5.
Big 4 Tire Big Time Performance: McKenna Musso, Skaneateles girls volleyball. Despite a five-set loss to Lansing on September 5 at Homer’s outdoor Sundown Showdown Musso stood out for the Lakers with 17 assists, 18 digs and six aces.
Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Bekzod Abdusattorov, Jamesville-DeWitt boys soccer. With his five goals in two games Abdusattorov led the Red Rams to wins over South Jefferson and Vernon-Verona-Sherrill by a combined 11-1 margin.
Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: Caleb Robert, Mexico football. Robert scored six touchdowns and piled up 264 yards on 21 carries as the Tigers routed Phoenix 57-in the September 4 season opener.
F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Collin Helmer, Fayetteville-Manlius boys golf. Shooting a 34 at Green Lakes, Helmer led the Hornets past defending league and sectional champion West Genesee Gold 184-189 in a September 3 match.
The Image Press Icon: Eden West, Homer girls volleyball. As the Trojans raced out to a 3-0 start West recorded 65 assists, 17 of them in an outdoor match September 5 where her team swept Newark Valley in three sets.
Iron Horse Gutters Mark of Greatness: Brent Blais, Herkimer boys soccer. Blais piled up four goals and an assist as the Magicians rolled past Poland 9-2 on September 3.
Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Riley Monroe, South Jefferson girls soccer, netting the only goal of the game in the Spartans’ September 3 game against Central Square resulting in an eventual 1-0 victory.
Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Alex Mitchell, Carthage football. Carrying the ball 27 times for 166 yards and a touchdown, Mitchell led the Comets to a 32-22 victory over Fayetteville-Manlius on September 4.
Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Sarah Clark, Christian Brothers Academy girls tennis. When the Brothers won a 4-3 showdown with Cazenovia on September 4 Clark won a crucial singles match 10-7 over Lila Campagna.
M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Jackson Khammar, Chittenango boys golf. The Bears completed a 3-0 season-opening stretch defeating Cazenovia 190-222 on September 4 led by Khammar shooting a 35 at Rogues Roost.
Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Kayden Hartzfield, Oswego football. Hartzfield intercepted three Cortland passes and returned two of them for touchdowns as the Buccaneers blasted Cortland 56-12 on September 4.
O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Adriana Izzo, Little Falls field hockey, netting the only goal of the game in the third quarter to help the Mounties defeat Camden 1-0 and completed an undefeated run at the Fayetteville-Manlius Tournament.
Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Cooper Stewart, Faith Heritage boys soccer. The Saints beat Cincinnatus 4-1 in the Fabius-Pompey Tournament on September 1 with Stewart assisting on three goals and scoring the other.
Potter and Perone Special Performance: Willa Luton, Onondaga/LaFayette girls soccer. Earning a goal and an assist, Luton helped push her team to a 2-1 victory over McGraw on September 5.
Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Mark Barone, Rome Free Academy football. The Black Knights defeated Vestal 21-10 on September 4 with Barone active through the air completing 18 of 31 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns.
Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Stella Buker, Copenhagen girls tennis. Buker rallied in three sets to top Lilly Rupert earning the decisive point in the Gold Knights’ 3-2 victory over Lowville on September 3.
Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Mallory Mills, Port Byron field hockey. The Panthers routed Cato-Meridian 10-0 in the Cayuga County Tournament as Mills had a part in half the scoring plays with four goals and an assist.
Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Lily Lockwood, Syracuse City girls soccer. With Lockwood’s three-goal hat trick Syracuse earned a 4-1 victory over Liverpool on September 4 in the Ava Wood Tournament at Baldwinsville.
Top Notch Roofing Top Performer: Stockton Sobotka, Westhill boys soccer. It took Sobotka’s second-half goal to help the reigning state Class B champion Wolf Pack defeat East Syracuse Minoa 1-0 on September 5.
University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Baldwinsville football earning its first victory since 2024 and the first for second-year head coach Tyler Rouse when it beat Indian River 60-28 on September 3.
U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Kierra Keegan, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill girls soccer. The Red Devils tore past Camden 9-0 on September 3 led by Keegan, who put in four of her team’s goals.
Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Layla Owens, Nottingham girls volleyball. Putting up 14 kills and adding four digs, Owens helped the Bulldogs hold off Central Square in five sets on September 3 to move to 2-0 on the season.
