APEX Amazing Athlete: Hannah Roggie, Beaver River girls track and field. Roggie threw the shot put 41 feet 5 inches and by doing so won the NYSPHSAA Class C championship on June 14.

Atlas Fence All-Star: Ryan Maher, Auburn boys track and field. Maher was victorious in the Class A portion and second overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the June 14 NYSPHSAA championships. 

B&B Lumber Big Mover:  Nick Rayfield, Marcellus boys lacrosse. With two goals in the NYSPHSAA Class D championship game against Cold Spring Harbor Rayfield completed his senior season with 88 goals plus 25 assists. 

Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Lauren Mills, Jamesville-DeWitt girls lacrosse. Mills picked up four ground balls helping to anchor a strong Red Rams defense when it beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 8-2 in the June 12 NYSPHSAA Class C semifinals.

Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: Eddie Wright, Oriskany baseball. Though the Nighthawks lost 5-4 to Fillmore in the June 12 NYSPHSAA Class D semifinal Wright was sensational at the plate with a single, double, triple, RBI and two runs scored.

F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Emersynn Wilson, McGraw softball. As a freshman, Wilson batted a team-best .493 with 15 extra-base hits and 20 RBIs leading the Eagles to the Section III Class C championship.

The Image Press Icon: Keira Vrabel, West Genesee girls lacrosse. In helping the Wildcats to earn the Section III Class A championship.Vrabel picked up a team-best 22 assists and was second on the team with 42 goals 

Iron Horse Gutters Mark of Greatness: Macon Kingsley, South Jefferson boys track and field. Kingsley unleashed a top discus throw of 166 feet 8 inches claiming third place in the Class C portion of the NYSPHSAA championships on June 14. 

Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Pulaski’s 4×100 relay team of Megan Dailey, Kylie Dye, Kendall Dye and Vanessa Trumble claiming the NYSPHSAA Class C championship on June 13 in Webster with a time of 48.59 seconds. 

Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Owen Marcollini, Lowville boys lacrosse. In leading the Red Raiders to a spot in the Section III Class D championship game Marcollini led the team with nearly 100 points stemming from 58 goals and 41 assists.

Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Julia Covey, Watertown girls lacrosse. Covey piled up 57 assists to go with her 57 goals leading the Cyclones to a berth in the Section III Class B championship game.

M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Peyton Clark, Sandy Creek softball. The Comets won another Frontier League title and made the Section III Class C championship game led by Clark at the plate as she batted .532 with 15 doubles, two home runs and a team-best 36 RBI.

Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Owen Harris, Christian Brothers Academy baseball. Harris had a 1.78 earned run average in 39 1/3 innings and his relief pitching helped the Brothers get to the championship series in the Section III Class AAA playoffs.

Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Anna Eells, Cicero-North Syracuse girls track and field. Eells emerged as a two-time Class A champion during the June 14 NYSPHSAA championships winning both the high jump clearing 5 feet 6 inches and the triple jump with 41 feet 2 3/4 inches.

O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: East Syracuse Minoa’s 4×100 relay team of Jay-Neil McDuffie, Jayden Recabo, John Jordan and Anthony Bryant winning the overall NYSPHSAA Federation championship with a time of 41.67 seconds.

Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Paolo Munetz, Liverpool baseball. Munetz delivered a pair of RBIs and scored a run which helped the Legends defeat Niagara Falls 8-3 in the June 12 NYSPHSAA Class AA semifinal. 

Potter and Perone Special Performance: Paige Stroh, Fabius-Pompey softball. Leading the Falcons to a 12-5 record and nearly claiming the Section III Class D championship, Stroh won 12 of her 16 decisions in the pitcher’s circle striking out 132 batters in 104 innings of work.

Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Rachel O’Rourke, Rome Free Academy girls golf. With a two-day total of 144 at Wild Wood Country Club in Rush, O’Rourke finished second, just two shots from the top, in the June 7-8 NYSPHSAA championships.

Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Aubrey Greene, Central Square girls track and field. Clearing 11 feet 6 inches in the pole vault, Greene finished third in Class B and best among Section III competitors in the June 13 NYSPHSAA championships.

Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Jianni Berguer, Corcoran boys track and field. Berguer’s shot put toss of 55 feet 2 1/4 inches helped him earn third place in the Class A portion of the shot put at the June 13 NYSPHSAA championships.

Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Antonio Padula, Utica Notre Dame baseball. Padula singled and drove in a pair of runs which helped the Jugglers defeat Taconic Hills 7-5 and win the regional Class B championship on June 6.

Top Notch Roofing Top Star: Patrick O’Connor, Christian Brothers Academy boys golf. O’Connor rose to a tie for seventh place during the individual portion of the June 7-8 NYSPHSAA championships at Mill Creek Golf Club in Churchville.

University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: West Genesee baseball team securing a 4-0 victory over Cornwall on June 13 in Binghamton in the NYSPHSAA Class AA final to win the program’s first-ever state championship.

U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: . Kamryn Yerman, Sauquoit Valley girls golf. Yerman claimed sixth place in the June 7-8 NYSPHSAA championships at Wild Wood Country Club when she shot rounds of 73 and 77 to finish at 150. 

Wilkins RV Winning Player: Olivia Hendrickson, Fulton girls track and field. With her total of 3,126 points Hendrickson earned a ninth-place overall finish during the NYSPHSAA championships on June 13-14.

Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Madison Foy, Marcellus girls track and field. Foy won the Class C 400-meter hurdles and helped the Mustangs to the Class C 4×400 relay title along wtih a second in the 100 hurdles during the June 13-14 NYSPHSAA championships.
