APEX Amazing Athlete:  Lainey Lowe, Skaneateles softball. Lowe pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts and just two hits allowed as the Lakers ousted defending champion Solvay 4-0 in the May 22 Section III Class B quarterfinal.

Atlas Fence All-Star: Ryan Victoriano, Onondaga baseball. The Tigers shut out Tully 3-0 on May 21 with Victoriano dominant on the mound as he limited the Black Knights to four hits and piled up 11 strikeouts.

B&B Lumber Big Mover: Cora Hindsill, Adirondack girls track and field. Hindsill pulled off the double of winning the 2,000 steeplechase and 3,000-meter run during the May 20 Center State Conference Division II Championships.

Byrne Dairy Prime Performer: Scott Martin, Westhill boys track and field. The Wolf Pack won the OHSL Liberty Large School championship on May 17 with Martin victorious in both the 200-meter dash and high jump.

Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Elizabeth Smith, Cicero-North Syracuse girls lacrosse. With five goals and five assists Smith helped the Northstars roll past Baldwinsville 16-6 in the May 19 regular-season finale.

Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: J.P. Lazzaro, New Hartford boys golf. Lazzaro shot a two-round total of 143 at Timber Banks in Baldwinsville to win medalist honors at the May 19-20 Section III state qualifying tournament.

F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Alexandra Graziano, Mount Markham softball. Graziano piled up seven RBIs with a home run and two singles when the Mustangs beat Cato-Meridian 16-3 in the May 22 opening round of the Section III Class C playoffs.

The Image Press Icon: Chace Shepard, Fulton baseball. Shepard hit for the cycle – home run, triple, double, two singles – getting six RBIs in the Red Dragons’ 20-6 romp over Phoenix on May 20.

Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Dominic Winser, General Brown boys lacrosse, scoring the go-ahead goal with one minute, 15 seconds left to give the Lions an 11-10 win over Westhill in the May 23 Section III Class D quarterfinals.

Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Connor Nelson, Remsen boys track and field. Nelson cleared 12 feet 6 inches in the pole vault helping the Rams to the Center State Conference Division IV championship on May 21.

Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Amoni Gary, PSLA-Fowler girls track and field. Gary dominated the pentathlon finishing with 2,734 points to win that event during the May 21 Salt City Athletic Conference Empire division championships.

M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Alexis DeGroat, Oneida flag football. DeGroat threw four touchdown passes and neared the 3,000-yard passing mark for the season leading the Express past Westmoreland 33-7 on May 21 to win the Section III Class C championship.

Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Trent Gardner, Carthage boys lacrosse. The Comets defeated South Jefferson 11-6 in the May 21 Section III Class C quarterfinal led by Gardner putting in five goals.

Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Ella Spanbauer, Homer girls lacrosse. Earning a three-goal hat trick, Spanbauer helped power the Trojans past Southern Hills 9-6 in the May 21 opening round of the Section III Class C playoffs.

O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Carly Sears, Marcellus softball, driving home Mia Colon with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning when the Mustangs beat Jordan-Elbridge 5-4 in the May 22 Section III Class B semifinal.

Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Noah Soderberg, Skaneateles boys tennis. Soderberg defeated teammate Peter Salzhauer in straight sets to win the Section III Division II championship on May 21.

Potter and Perone Special Performance: Chace Bearup, Indian River baseball. Bearup struck out 12 and gave up just five hits while getting two hits at the plate as the Wolves knocked off South Lewis 7-2 on May 22.

Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Maryn Barlow, Fayetteville-Manlius flag football. Barlow caught a pair of touchdown passes to lead the Hornets to its second consecutive Section III title when it beat East Syracuse Minoa 27-0 on May 21.

Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Alex Acevedo, Henninger boys track and field. Acevedo pulled off a clean sweep of the high jump, long jump and triple jump during the May 19 Salt City Athletic Conference Metro division championships.

Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Hahlie Fehlbauer, West Canada Valley girls track and field. Leading her team to the Center State Conference Division II championship on May 20 Fehlbauer swept to victories in the pole vault, long jump and triple jump.

Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star:  Hailey Haver, Poland softball. Haver gave up just two hits and recorded 12 strikeouts leading the Tornadoes past Belleville-Henderson 6-0 in the May 21 opening round of the Section III Class D playoffs.

Sierson Crane and Welding Superstar: Kamryn Yerman, Sauquoit Valley girls golf. Yerman shot a 79 at Rome’s Teugega Country Club to share top individual honors during the May 21 Section III state qualifying tournament.

Top Notch Roofing Top Star: Taylor Adams, Central Square girls lacrosse. Each one of Adams’ four goals was required to help the Redhawks edge East Syracuse Minoa 11-10 on May 19.

University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Syracuse East flag football defeating Liverpool 27-6 to earn the program’s first-ever Section III Class A championship on May 21 after near-misses in the program’s first two seasons.

U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Ben Kaulback, Christian Brothers Academy baseball. Kaulback homered and finished with four RBIs as the Brothers claimed a wild 15-14 victory over Liverpool on May 19.

Wilkins RV Winning Player: Norman Cushman, Watertown boys lacrosse. Cushman finished with 13 saves helping the Cyclones battle to a 10-9 victory over General Brown on May 19.

Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Raelee McDowell, Port Byron softball. McDowell was four-for-four with two runs scored sparking the Panthers to a 10-7 win over Sauquoit Valley in the May 23 Section III Class D quarterfinal.
