Atlas Fence All-Star: Jason Leonard, Clinton boys indoor track and field. Clinton won the high jump clearing 6 feet 1 inches and was second in the pole vault with 13 feet 6 inches during the first session of the John DiMao Memorial Meet on January 2.
B&B Lumber Big Mover: Brayden Mack, Mexico boys basketball. Mack picked up 29 points carrying the Tigers to its first win of the season 62-50 over Jordan-Elbridge on December 29.
Byrne Dairy Prime Performer: Brielle Nels, Homer girls wrestling. When the Trojans took team honors in the Queen Bee Tournament at Baldwinsville on January 3 Nels won the 132-pound title improving her season record to 15-3.
Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Dahlia Saada, Fayetteville-Manlius girls indoor track and field. Saada won the 1,000-meter run and helped in the victorious 4×800 relay during the January 3 session of the George Constantino Memorial.
CNY Softwash & Pressure Washing Superstar: Louden Elliott, Carthage boys wrestling. Elliott moved to 18-0 on the season winning at 138 pounds and led the Comets to the team title in the January 2 Cordell Rotary Tournament at Oneonta.
Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: Dan Hinman, Baldwinsville ice hockey. The Bees rallied past Williamsville East 4-3 in the January 2 opening round of the Duke Schneider Tournament at Skaneateles with Hinman netting a pair of goals.
F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Jerome Bowen, Frankfort-Schuyler boys basketball. Bowen had 18 points, six assists, four steals and four rebounds for the Maroon Knights beating Faith Heritage 68-60 on December 29 at Utica’s Nexus Center.
The Image Press Icon: Carlena Wallace, Fabius-Pompey girls basketball. The Falcons rolled past Otselic Valley 54-21 on December 29 with Wallace outscoring the opposition thanks to her 25 points adding 15 rebounds, seven steals and five assists.
Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Emma Szarek, Oriskany-Westmoreland girls indoor track and field, clearing 4 feet 10 inches to win the high jump in the second session of the January 2 John DiMao Memorial Meet at Colgate University.
Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Jim Biccum, South Jefferson boys wrestling. Biccum remained undefeated and won the 285-pound title in the December 29 Windsor Christmas Tournament beating Waverly’s Troy Beeman in overtime.
Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Adaline Decapio, West Genesee girls wrestling. Decapio won the 114-pound title and helped the Wildcats finish second in the January 3 Queen Bee Tournament at Baldwinsville.
M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Mallory Wilcox, Brookfield girls basketball. Earning a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds Wilcox led the Beavers to a 49-41 victory over Poland on January 3.
Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Jayden Cotton, PSLA Fowler boys indoor track and field. Cotton won the 300-meter dash and was fifth in the 55-meter dash during the January 2 session of the George Constantino Memorial.
Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Natalie Cortright, Clinton girls indoor track and field. Cortright was second in the 3,000-meter run and helped the Comets take the 4×800 relay and the team title in the January 2 first session of the John DiMao Memorial Meet.
O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Trenton Anderson, Sherburne-Earlville wrestling, pinning General Brown’s Carsyn Ferard in 23 seconds to win the 150-pound title during the January 3 Port Byron Mid-Winter Tournament.
Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Embry George, Cato-Meridian boys basketball. The Blue Devils defeated Beaver River 69-45 on January 3 with George contributing a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Potter and Perone Special Performance: Brooklyn Palmer, Whitesboro girls volleyball. Palmer’s 27 assists helped anchor Whitesboro as it worked its way past Christian Brothers Academy in four sets on January 3.
Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Taniyah Outten, Rome Free Academy girls basketball. When the Black Knights defeated West Genesee 46-42 on December 28 Outten produced 10 points, six steals, eight rebounds and three assists.
Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Jack Casey, Cazenovia ice hockey. Casey carried the Lakers to a 6-3 victory over Clinton on January 2 not only netting three goals for a hat trick but adding three assists to have a part in every single scoring play.
Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Kaylee French, Oneida girls basketball. French earned 12 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals as the Express defeated Homer 42-37 on December 29 at Utica’s Nexus Center.
Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Kaelyn Chase, Canastota girls wrestling. Improving to 13-2 on the season Chase was victorious in the 94-pound division during the January 3 Queen Bee Tournament at Baldwinsville.
Sierson Crane and Welding Superstar: Molly Dickinson, Watertown girls volleyball. Though the Cyclones lost in five sets to Carthage on January 2 Dickinson had a superb effort finishing with a team-best 15 kills along with 16 digs.
Top Notch Roofing Top Star: Anthony Polhamus, Syracuse ice hockey. Each of the 28 saves Polhamus made proved important for the Cougars in a 4-3 victory over Fayetteville-Manlius January 3 at Meachem Rink.
University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Joe Lisi, Liverpool boys swimming, breaking his own season mark going 53.92 seconds to dominate the 100-yard backstroke during the December 29 Holiday Relay Carnival at Nottingham High School.
U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Jaxon Koenig, Holland Patent boys wrestling. Still undefeated at 13-0, Koenig rolled to the 175-pound championship during the January 3 Leo J. Sammon Tournament at Central Valley Academy.
Wilkins RV Winning Player: Mason Kocur, Weedsport boys basketball. Kocur picked up 28 points as the Wolverines picked up an 85-54 victory over Onondaga on January 3 to improve to 5-2 on the season.
Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Morgan Sheldon, Fulton girls bowling. Led by Sheldon’s season-best 616 series and high game of 230 the Red Dragons stayed undefeated handling Auburn 7-0 on December 29.
