Atlas Fence All-Star: Paige Rider, Central Square girls indoor track and field. During the February 6 Section III Class AA championships at SRC Arena Rider earned first-place finishes in both the high jump and triple jump.
B&B Lumber Big Mover: Colin Logalbo, Little Falls boys wrestling. Logalbo’s victory in the 126-pound division helped the Mounties roll to the team title in the February 7 Section III Class D championships at South Lewis.
Byrne Dairy Prime Performer: Logan L’Huilier, Copenhagen boys basketball. The Gold Knights knocked off Sackets Harbor 59-54 on February 3 as L’Huilier recorded a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Ezra Stahlberg, Cazenovia ice hockey. Stahlberg managed to stop each of the 44 shots he faced from Rome Free Academy carrying the Lakers past the Black Knights 2-0 on February 3 at Kennedy Arena.
CNY Softwash & Pressure Washing Superstar: Maddie Coe, Sandy Creek girls volleyball. The Comets beat Cooperstown in four sets in the February 6 Section III Class C quarterfinal as Coe gained 35 assists and added 10 digs.
Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: Andrew Lee, Central Valley Academy boys volleyball. Lee finished with 18 kills and eight digs helping the Thunder push past Rome Free Academy in four sets on February 5.
F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Manuel Pelton-Vazquez, Mexico boys wrestling. Pelton-Vazquez pinned Chittenango’s Kole Smith in 29 seconds to win the 157-pound title in the February 7 Section III Class B championships at Central Valley Academy.
The Image Press Icon: Zion Rivera, Syracuse Academy of Science girls indoor track and field. Rivera swept to wins in the shot put and weight throw during the February 7 Section III Class C championships at SRC Arena.
Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Parker Putnam, New Hartford boys swimming, breaking the five-minute mark with a personal-best time of four minutes 56.77 seconds in the January 31 Tri-Valley League championships.
Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Jake Woolbert, Cazenovia boys indoor track and field. Woolbert swept the 3,200 and 1,600-meter titles leading the Lakers to the Section III Class B championship February 7 at SRC Arena.
Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Elyza Smith, LaFargeville girls basketball. Earning 22 points and 13 rebounds, Smith helped the state-ranked Red Knights claim a 61-53 decision over Thousand Islands on February 6.
M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Mason Hurst, Watertown boys basketball. When the Cyclones defeated Fulton 57-52 on February 3 Hurst pulled off a rare triple-double getting 17 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Kendra Garlock, Skaneateles girls ice hockey. The Lakers kept rolling with a 5-3 victory over Ithaca on February 5 as Garlock led the attack with a goal and two assists.
Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Jacob Ciccone, Rome Free Academy boys indoor track and field. Ciccone was victorious in both the weight throw and shot put during the February 6 Section III Class AAA championships at SRC Arena.
O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Kamryn Barton, Baldwinsville girls indoor track and field, adding a 1,500-meter title to her 1,000-meter victory during the February 6 Section III Class AAA championships at SRC Arena.
Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Ryan Munn, Carthage boys wrestling. Munn moved to 37-1 on the season winning the 144-pound championship and leading the Comets to the team title in the February 7 Section III Class A championships at Whitesboro.
Potter and Perone Special Performance: Travis Stuart, Port Byron boys basketball. Picking up 27 points, six rebounds and four assists, Stuart led the Panthers earned a 62-43 victory over North Rose-Wolcott on February 3.
Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Olivia Bitz, Bishop Ludden-Grimes girls basketball. The Gaelic Knights defeated Oswego 62-51 led by Bitz setting a season mark by earning 22 points and adding 11 rebounds.
Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Liam Harty, CBA/Jamesville-DeWitt ice hockey. The Brothers put together a 7-3 victory over Cortland-Homer as Harty recorded a three-goal hat trick and adding an assist.
Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Stella Viscelli, Town of Webb girls volleyball. In a five-set opening-round victory over Morrisville-Eaton in the Section III Class D playoffs on February 4 Viscelli accumulated 17 kills and seven blocks.
Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Ryan Brown, Syracuse City boys wrestling. Brown is a perfect 26-0 this season and won the 190-pound title during the February 7 Section III Class AA championships at PSLA-Fowler.
Sierson Crane and Welding Superstar: Sawyer Frandsen, South Jefferson boys swimming. Frandsen finished first in both the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly as part of a three-team meet with Watertown and South Jefferson on February 4.
Top Notch Roofing Top Star: Sydney Cox, Onondaga girls basketball. Cox finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds and four steals helping the Tigers defeat Hannibal 55-40 on February 5.
University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Manlius Pebble Hill boys basketball breaking its 35-game losing streak defeating Syracuse OnTECH 91-89 in overtime on February 4 and then beating Fabius-Pompey two days later for two wins in a row.
U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Drew Mayne, Fayetteville-Manlius ice hockey. Mayne’s two goals and assist including an overtime point helped the Hornets edge past Watertown IHC 3-2 in overtime on February 2.
Wilkins RV Winning Player: Emersynn Wilson, McGraw girls basketball. Wilson had 26 points, 13 rebounds, six steals and five assists when the Eagles defeated Otselic Valley 60-40 on February 4.
Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Ian Witonsky, Utica Proctor boys bowling. Witonsky’s four-game total of 937 with a 263 high game led all individuals during the February 1 Section III team tournament at Strike-N-Spare Lanes.
