Atlas Fence All-Star: Duncan Andrews, Lowville football. The Red Raiders defeated Dolgeville 38-20 in the November 14 Section III Class D championship game at the JMA Dome as Andrews got 13 tackles and added an interception.
B&B Lumber Big Mover: Ryan Maher, Auburn boys cross country. Maher’s time of 15 minutes 11.6 seconds was second just 1.2 seconds behind the winning effort in the November 15 state Class A championship race in Queensbury.
Byrne Dairy Prime Performer: Elijah Meyers, Hamilton boys soccer. Meyers managed to stop all 14 shots he faced when the Emerald Knights edged past Fillmore 1-0 in the November 15 state Class D semifinal at Middletown.
Clifton Recycling Rewarding Effort: Malana Noble, Fayetteville-Manlius girls volleyball. Noble finished with 12 kills and 14 digs in the Hornets’ three-set defeat to Columbia in the November 12 Class AA regional playoffs.
CNY Softwash & Pressure Washing Superstar: Abigail Burt, East Syracuse Minoa girls cross country. Burt made her way to a 20th place finish in her state Class A championship debut during the November 15 state meet at Queensbury.
Fire Brothers Red-Hot Performance: Bobby Livingston, Cazenovia football. Despite the Lakers’ 51-49 defeat to General Brown in the Section III Class C final November 15 Livingston accounted for 448 passing yards and four touchdowns while also scoring twice on the ground.
F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Maddie Truax, New Hartford girls soccer. When the Spartans defeated Maine-Endwell 4-0 in the November 8 Class A regional final Truax played a central role with a goal and two assists.
The Image Press Icon: Elizabeth Dunham, West Genesee girls volleyball. The Wildcats defeated Saratoga Springs in four sets in the November 12 regional Class AAA playoffs as Dunham picked up nine kills and added 12 digs.
Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Connor Raymond, Whitesboro football, scoring on a six-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter to clinch a 21-7 victory over East Syracuse Minoa in the November 14 Section III Class D final at the JMA Dome.
Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Hannah Knox, Marcellus girls soccer. Earning a pair of assists, Knox helped the Mustangs roar past Mechanicville 7-3 in the November 8 Class B regional championship game.
Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Ellie Booth, LaFayette girls volleyball. Booth’s 21 assists, 23 digs and five aces helped the Lancers edge Bishop Ludden-Grimes in five sets on November 8 to win the Section III Class D championship.
M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Enzo Falso, Baldwinsville boys soccer. Recording eight saves, Falso made a difference for the Bees when it defeated Newburgh Free Academy 2-1 in the November 8 Class AAA regional final.
Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: Lily Kogut, Cazenovia girls cross country. Improving from her 2024 finish Kogut got ninth place in a time of 19:00.7 during the November 15 state Class C championships at Queensbury.
Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Riley Abernethy, Bishop Ludden-Grimes girls volleyball. Though the Gaelic Knights lost the November 8 Section III Class D final to LaFayette in five sets Abernethy still stood out with 19 kills and seven blocks.
O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Gavin Baker, Morrisville-Eaton football, forcing a fumble which led to the winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks knocked off Frankfort-Schuyler 40-36 in the Section III eight-man football final November 14 at the JMA Dome.
Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Mason Zehr, Beaver River boys cross country. Zehr’s 23rd-place individual finish helped the Beavers to take fifth in the team event during the November 15 state championships at Queensbury.
Potter and Perone Special Performance: Cameron Dowd, Westhill girls volleyball. Dowd picked up 15 total kills in six sets when the Wolf Pack swept Massena and Ichabod Crane to win the Class B regional championship.
Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Alexa Ritchie, Rome Free Academy field hockey. Earning 10 goals and six assists the season, Ritchie led the Black Knights to repeat as Section III Class A champions and finish 18-1 overall.
Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Peyton Way, New Hartford football. The Spartans defeated Institute of Technology Central 37-14 in the Section III Class B final at the JMA Dome as Way had 12 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Noah Perry, South Jefferson boys soccer. Perry finished with a team-high 15 goals and added 10 assists to lead the Spartans to an 11-5 record this season.
Senke CNY Garage Door Sensational Star: Kevin Heller, Fayetteville-Manlius boys cross country. In a time of 15 minutes 31.9 seconds Heller recorded a 12th-place finish in the state Class A championships November 15 at Queensbury.
Sierson Crane and Welding Superstar: Zoyee Newton, Weedsport girls volleyball. The Wolverines defeated Chateaugay in three sets in the November 15 Class D regional final led by Newton picking up 10 kills and adding 12 digs.
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists Stellar Athlete: Javon Edenfield, Christian Brothers Academy football. Edenfield’s five catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns led the Brothers past Liverpool 27-6 to win the Section III Class AA championship November 15 at the JMA Dome.
Top Notch Roofing Top Star: Jack Hayes, Westhill boys soccer. Earning a goal, Hayes helped propel the Wolf Pack to a 5-0 victory over Albertus Magnus in the November 15 state Class B semifinal at Middletown.
University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: Adelaide Svoboda, Cicero-North Syracuse girls soccer, scoring in the second overtime period to help the Northstars defeat Oceanside 1-0 in the November 15 state Class AAA semifinals.
U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Noah Becker, Mexico football. Earning 114 1/2 tackles, Becker led the Tigers’ defense as it went from one win in 2024 to taking the Section III Class A/B/C-2 championship in 2025.
Wilkins RV Winning Player: Myah Keenan, Fabius-Pompey girls cross country. Section III won the team title in the November 15 state Class D championships at Queensbury helped by Keenan’s ninth-place finish in a team of 18:52.6.
Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Camden Thomas, General Brown football. Thomas ran for 200 yards on 16 carries as the Lions outscored Cazenovia 51-49 on November 15 at the JMA Dome to win the Section III Class C championship.
