Rosbrook had 26 points and 13 rebounds as the Lions beat
Sherburne-Earlville 60-48 in the Section III Class C quarterfinal on
February 20.

Athlete: Kendra Waltz, Morrisville-Eaton girls volleyball. Waltz had 20
digs to go with seven kills in the Warriors’ sweep of Old Forge February
16 for the Section III Class D winter championship.

Hospital Clutch Performance: Dimitri Queior, Central Square boys
bowling. Queior shot a 279 in the final game to finish at 1,426 and win
the Section III Shootout February 14 at Rome’s King Pin Lanes.

Inn and Spa Megastar: Jack Henry, Skaneateles ice hockey. The Lakers
beat Auburn 4-3 in the Section III Division II semifinal, led by Henry,
who recorded three goals for the hat trick.

Prime Performer: Amaya Williams, Nottingham girls basketball. The
Bulldogs topped Fayetteville-Manlius 60-46 in the Section III Class AA
quarterfinal February 19, Williams leading the way with 15 points.

Auto Body Sensational Star: Jordyn Lanaux, Herkimer boys basketball.
Lanaux had 27 points as the Magicians pushed past Cato-Meridian 57-45 in
the February 19 Section III Class C quarterfinal.

Center 481 Driving Force: Alexa Kiser, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill girls
basketball. Kiser had 21 points and 15 rebounds as the Red Devils beat
Cazenovia 62-44 in the Section III Class B quarterfinal on February 19.

swimming. Hamad won the 200 and 500 freestyles at the Section III Class A
and state qualifying meets on February 14 and 16.

ice hockey, scoring with 2:55 left to clinch the Wildcats’ 4-2 win over

Moment: Kaily Campbell, CBA girls basketball, hitting a 3-pointer in the
final seconds to help the Brothers upset New Hartford 61-59 in the
February 19 Section III Class A quarterfinal.

Army Male Athlete: Joe Wloch, Weedsport boys swimming. The Warriors won
the Section III Class C championship February 14, Wloch winning the 500
freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle.

Army Female Athlete: Marie Winn, New Hartford girls volleyball. The
Spartans beat Carthage in four sets for the Section III Class A winter
championship February 16, Winn getting 35 assists and 16 digs.

Winning Player: Jed Brazo, Cortland-Homer ice hockey. Brazo’s two goals
and one assist led the Golden Eagles to a 6-1 victory over Whitesboro
in the Section III Division II semifinal on February 20.
